Vegas billionaire Steve Wynn definitely has something new to be keyed up about this holiday time. Investing close to $2.3 billion, the stunning new hotel called Encore will inaugurate this week.

This plush casino-hotel is joined to the extremely fashionable Wynn Vegas on the Vegas Strip. While tons of Las Vegas hotel and casino proprietors are doing their best to come across a way to keep their hotels open, Wynn is flying high with his billion dollar hotel investments.

This 2,000 room hotel-casino is another incredible creation by Wynn. The centerpiece of this building will be the nightclub, named XS. Wynn has taken notice lately that nightclubs are the biggest draw in Las Vegas, Nevada, and not necessarily the hotels like they were in the past. He thinks that LV nightclubs for the most part generate more hard cash and are a huge hotspot for the young and hip bunch.

Wynn has also put up a lavish steakhouse connected to the XS nightclub. The inspiration for the restaurant is the well-known Colombian artist, Fernando Botero this circular restaurant has a large Botero carving as the centerpiece. Although not quite as spectacular as the nightclub which it is adjacent to; the Botero steakhouse is designed to complement rather well with the loud LV nightclub.
The thought behind XS and Botero is a type of St. Tropez feeling, where the party goes on 24 hours a day and a big part of the party occurs next to a swimming pool or beach-type setting. Things are not the same in LV, where most people would rather partying to slot machines at the present time.

After just about one entire year of no activity, the Mirage Hotel and Casino’s famous volcano will be restored bigger and more amazing than ever before. The well-known Vegas hotel-casino is pulling out all the stops to draw as many sightseers as possible to examine their transformation.

This upcoming New Year’s Eve, the stuntman Robbie Knievel will attempt a motorcycle jump over the Mirage Hotel and Casino’s synthetic volcano. This act will mark the ending of a 3-year restoration of the Las Vegas, Nevada hotel-casino. During this period, the Vegas hotel and casino has shelled-out over $110 million renovating their accommodations and suites.

This New Year’s Eve feat is said to be Knievel’s final stunt in the U.S.. The presentation will continue for 5 mins. and feature fireworks and a modern soundtrack. The music for the presentation has been recorded by former Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart. Robbie Knievel is the son of the deceased Evil Knievel-one of the world’s first and most celebrated daredevils.

The Sin City Mirage was developed in 1989 by Vegas tycoon Steve Wynn and was deemed as LV’s first megaresort. This upgrade is one of many on the Vegas Strip as of late. This megaresort has hopes that this act will draw a large amount of tourists to the Sin City hotel-casino. The plan behind the renovation is to beat other well-known LV megaresorts like the Bellagio megaresort.

The Las Vegas event the majority of boxing fans have been waiting forever to see is just around the corner. Oscar De La Hoya will box one of boxing’s present top fighters, Manny Pacquiao. This fight is listed to take place on Saturday, December 6th in the MGM Arena in Las Vegas.

Surely there has been many rumors in Las Vegas regarding this match. The Golden Boy has dropped down to 147 lbs. to compete as a welterweight, and some agree that Oscar “Golden Boy” De La Hoya might not be as sturdy since the weight loss. ”Pac-Man” Pacquiao has already competed on one occasion as a lightweight and wants to compete from now on in the welterweight group. Manny Pacquiao is also the current lightweight champion , and is thought of by many experts to be one of the best boxers of the moment.

This is The Golden Boy’s first trip back to Las Vegas for a boxing match since he took on Floyd Mayweather Jr. in May of 2007. This match is scheduled to be a sold out event for the MGM Arena Las Vegas. Sightseers to Las Vegas have dwindled in recent times, but Sin City events like this match really have a way of bringing fans to Las Vegas.

This match will unquestionably be one to remember as it puts together the two top boxers of our time in a twelve round welterweight bout. Oscar De La Hoya versus Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao tickets are being sold right now. If you check out only one LV event during this year, this is without a doubt the LV Event to attend.
